In the Valley of the Gods

Just north of Monument Valley, in Southern Utah, lies the Valley of the Gods.  Near the goosenecks of the San Juan River, it is the less visited sister site to the more famous valley in the Navajo Nation.  Managed by the BLM and now a part of the Bears Ears National Monument, it is possible to be the only person in this vast and beautiful semi-wilderness. Although the status of the Bears Ears National Monument has been in flux, the Valley of the Gods remains as it has been, accessible, explorable, undiminished.
